Perhaps the toughest week-long stretch in athletics for T.J. Yates looked a lot tougher when the UNC quarterback threw a fourth-quarter interception that set up Virginia Tech’s go-ahead touchdown Thursday night. That’s precisely when Yates showed how tough he is. He went out there in one of college football’s most hostile environments on national television and helped deliver a victory.
