Casey Barth booted a 21-yard game-winning field goal as time expired to defeat No. 14 Virginia Tech and earn Progress Energy Tar Heel of the Week honors for October 26-November 1, 2009. The game-winning kick came nearly five years to the day of his brother Connor's game-winning field goal as time expired to beat No. 4 Miami on Oct. 30, 2004
