Whitney Engen Named ACC Defensive Player of the Year

Florida State sophomore forward Tiffany McCarty and UNC senior defender Whitney Engen head up the 2009 ACC Women's Soccer Team, as announced today by Commissioner John Swofford. The Tar Heels landed three players on the first-team all-conference squad in senior defender Whitney Engen, senior goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris and senior midfielder Tobin Heath. (Tar Heel Blue)
