Tar Heels still hoping for more after season opening win over FIU
Posted Nov 11, 2009
Opening night was a success, but not a smash for North Carolina’s men’s basketball team. The Tar Heels downed visiting Florida International 88-72, but had some bumps along the way. The sixth-ranked Tar Heels will get another shot at hitting all their marks when they play host to North Carolina Central tonight in the second game of the 2K Sports Classic. It’s the season opener for the Eagles.
