Tar Heels swat away N.C. Central time and again

It was fitting that the by far loudest cheer in the Smith Center on Wednesday night came when freshman forward used his left hand to viciously swat away a layup attempt by North Carolina Central’s Nick Chasten. On a night when sixth-ranked North Carolina flexed its muscle on defense, leading to an 89-42 rout of the visiting Eagles, Henson’s spike late in the second half stood as appropriate punctuation.
