Gardner-Webb hopes for another strong showing against UNC in Smith Center

Even though only one member of this year’s North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team played against Gardner-Webb in the 2005-06 season the last time the schools met, UNC should certainly remember the Bulldogs tonight when the teams meet in Chapel Hill. Redshirt senior Marcus Ginyard was a freshman when then-Tar Heels senior David Noel hit a three with 1.8 seconds left to secure an 83-80 home win.
