Roy Williams still irked by Delvon Roe's snub
Posted Dec 3, 2009
There's absolutely no reason to feel sorry for North Carolina coach Roy Williams, who has a tendency to whine publicly when things don't go his way. After Williams' team beat Michigan State, 89-82, on Tuesday, he took a jab at Spartans forward Delvon Roe, whom he heavily recruited out of high school. "Let's be honest, he said he was coming," Williams said of Roe's intent to play for Williams. "I looked everyday in practice and I didn't see him there."
