Tar Heels Today: 20!
Posted Dec 8, 2009
Although UNC has won 20 of the 28 NCAA Championships in women's soccer, coach Anson Dorrance said it hasn't gotten any easier over the years. "The quality of the average team in the tournament now is phenomenal," he said. With the victory, Carolina bids farewell to a decorated senior class. Over the past four years, the team has won three national championships, four ACC Tournament championships, and put up a 94-9-4 record.
