Karen Shelton Honored As South Region's Top Coach

North Carolina field hockey coach?Karen Shelton has been honored as the South Region Coach of the Year by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), which announced the award on Tuesday. Shelton, in her 29th season at UNC, is one of five regional winners now in the running for NFHCA Division I National Coach of the Year honors. (Tar Heel Blue)
