T.J. Yates is coming back - really

The father of a quarterback being recruited by North Carolina was quoted on the web as saying he’d been told quarterback T.J. Yates would not return for the 2010 season, which came as a surprise to T.J. Yates. Yates said he suddenly started getting text messages from teammates and friends asking what was happening. For the record, however, Yates is coming back for his senior season.
