Foot pain to sideline Marcus Ginyard vs. Presbyterian
Posted Dec 11, 2009
UNC senior guard Marcus Ginyard, who redshirted during the team's championship season because of a fracture in his foot, will be held out of the Tar Heels' game Saturday against Presbyterian as a "precaution." "Marcus has some 'early' pain in his left foot in an area unrelated to the stress fracture he had last year," Dr. Tom Brickner said in a statement. "Preliminary tests are encouraging. He does not have a fracture."
