Justin Watts gets first start in victory over Hose
Posted Dec 13, 2009
Justin Watts found out he would be making his first career start for No. 11 North Carolina in the team's pregame meal a couple hours before Saturday's tipoff with Presbyterian College. But the sophomore decided to keep the information to himself, not even telling his mom, who was going to be in the stands. So after Watts scored nine points to help the Tar Heels cruise to a 103-64 victory at the Smith Center, he anticipated his mom would be pretty surprised.
