Heels breeze to win over Presbyterian

Like a quarterback looking for a big tight end, Deon Thompson dumped a pass on the baseline to fellow forward Ed Davis for a one-handed jam. Just a few feet away, injured backcourt players Marcus Ginyard and Dexter Strickland looked on from the bench in street clothes. With the backcourt depleted Saturday night, Thompson and Davis took over the game as 11th-ranked North Carolina breezed to a 103-64 defeat of Presbyterian.
