Tar Heels' roster in flux for bowl

Running back Shaun Draughn, who was the leading rusher for North Carolina until a fractured shoulder Nov. 7 against Duke, is trying to make a comeback for the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Dec. 26 against Pittsburgh. But coach Butch Davis said Draughn, a junior, is unlikely to be recovered in time. He has increased his activities during the past week, but he’s far from game condition, Davis said after Tuesday’s practice.
