Leftover tension from N.C. State's 28-27 win over North Carolina on Nov. 28 bubbled up Tuesday when UNC head coach Butch Davis explained the suspension of a player. A specific encounter as both teams left the field lead to a one-game suspension of UNC freshman Donte Paige-Moss. The discipline was handed out because Davis was upset at the way Moss handled himself during "a thing" with N.C. State linebacker Sterling Lucas.
