James Hurst honored

Plainfield senior James Hurst, recipient of the 2009 All-West Football Player of the Year distinction after a strong season on the offensive line, is among area players to pick up recent postseason honors from the Indiana Football Coaches Association. The coaches picked Hurst as the 2009 Mr. Football Position Award winner for the offensive line. Hurst's brother, former Quaker and future University of North Carolina teammate Nelson Hurst, received the 2007 Position Award for tight end.
