Pitt vs. North Carolina over the years


This will be the seventh meeting in a series North Carolina leads 4-2. The teams last met Nov.4, 2000, at Pittsburgh during the waning days of 's tenure as coach. The Tar Heels entered that game at Three Rivers Stadium with a 3-5 record, but the Panthers couldn't stop defensive end and the North Carolina pass rush.
