Next year, no excuses for UNC
Posted Dec 27, 2009
The pundits will be kind to Butch Davis and the Tar Heels today. And the fans probably won't make a big deal out of Saturday's 19-17 loss to Pittsburgh in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. The Panthers were, after all, a nationally ranked team who very nearly won the Big East Conference title and a bid to the Orange Bowl. So what if UNC made some bonehead plays? It's a young team and young teams make mistakes.
