Tar Heels turn grouchy despite beating Rutgers

With his team clinging to an ever-vanishing lead Monday night against Rutgers, Roy Williams watched a key late possession devolve into a confused mess and burned a timeout. The veteran coach, who had his left arm in a sling due to shoulder surgery, took a few paces and slammed his right arm on a cushioned seat along the Tar Heels’ bench. After the game, Williams said he might have reinjured himself.
