100 Years of UNC Basketball: The Jordan Effect

For lifelong UNC fans, it's not hard to rattle off the list of Michael Jordan's most legendary moments as a Tar Heel. There was that steal and dunk to spark a 1983 comeback win over Virginia. There was that trademark rock-the-cradle jam at Maryland in 1984. And most importantly, there was that baseline jumper in the final seconds of the 1982 national championship game in New Orleans that delivered UNC its first national title in 25 years.
