SF C.J. Barksdale chooses Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech has received its second men's basketball commitment for the Class of 2011. Highly regarded in-state prospect C.J. Barksdale committed on Sunday. Barksdale, a 6-7, 190-pound power forward, plays for George Washington High in Danville. He is ranked the 78th-best junior in the nation, according to recruiting Web site Rivals.com, making him one of Tech's highest-rated recruits since Dell Curry, a McDonald's All-American who played in the NBA from 1986-2002.
