Alan Pelc Out for Spring
Posted Jan 10, 2010
Alan Pelc had surgery on his shoulder and will miss all of spring practice, a UNC official confirmed to Inside Carolina Sunday morning. Pelc, a 6-foot-6, 325-pound senior from Houston, tore his labrum earlier in the season, according to IC’s sources. He had surgery shortly after UNC played Pittsburgh in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Pelc has an active streak of starting 23 consecutive games.
