Posted Jan 11, 2010
Hawatha Bell, Rashad Mason, Jamal Womble and Randy White are no longer part of North Carolina’s football team, a UNC official confirmed Monday morning. Bell, a sophomore linebacker from Charlotte, was dismissed from the team for violating team rules. Mason, a red-shirt junior from Nashville, has also been dismissed from the team and will transfer. Womble, a sophomore tailback from Sierra Vista, Ariz., will also transfer.
