Five Carolina football players to leave the program

Offseason attrition is part of college football, and at North Carolina, this offseason is no different. Five players from the 2009 Tar Heel football team will not be on the roster in 2010, a spokesman with the team confirmed Monday, including former four-star running back recruit Jamal Womble. Womble will transfer to a junior college in an effort to improve his grades enough to re-enroll at UNC for the 2011 season.
