Dean Smith seemed to have the whole thing figure out. Play hard, play smart, play together. Those are the cornerstones. Around 3:30 p.m. on January 16, the 2010 Tar Heels finally seemed to understand those principles. Sure, by that point they had played their way into a double-digit deficit. But from the time it was 52-39 until the final Will Graves shot sailed by the rim, the game bore some resemblance to the Carolina Basketball we recognize.
