Katrina Tsang Advances To Freeman Memorial Singles Final

Senior Katrina Tsang upset a pair of seeded Stanford players Saturday to advance to the finals of the Freeman Memorial Tennis Championships at UNLV. Tsang ousted eighth-seeded Carolyn McVeigh in the quarters, 7-6, 6-1, before defeating top-seeded Mallory Burdette in the semis, 6-3, 7-5. With the pair of wins, Tsang is set to meet Stanford's Stacey Tan in Sunday's final. Tan upset UNC's Sanaz Marand in the semis, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1.
