Wake Forest took advantage of pin-point accuracy from long range in the second half to defeat No. 24 North Carolina, 82-69, and saddle the defending national champions with the first three-game losing streak of the Roy Williams era. The Demon Deacons used an early 10-0 run to build a 26-18 lead midway through the first half, but the Tar Heels fought back to cut their deficit to 36-33 at the break.
