During the 2005-06 season, the last time UNC was coming off a national championship, the Tar Heels relied heavily on a talented group of freshmen to finish 23-8 overall. Tyler Hansbrough led the team with 18.9 points, Danny Green was fourth-leading scorer with 7.5 points while Bobby Frasor and Marcus Ginyard also contributed.
