DE Kareem Martin to announce Monday

Defensive end Kareem Martin of Roanoke Rapids (6-6, 240) is No. 5 and will announce on Monday for Duke, North Carolina or Virginia Tech. In-state schools may do a better job keeping the top players in North Carolina. Alabama landed top-ranked safety Keenan Allen of Northern Guilford and No. 3 defensive end Alfy Hill of West Brunswick, but of the eight members of the top 10 who are committed, three are committed to N.C. State and one to UNC. (Raleigh News & Observer)
