UNC's Withers makes it official: He's staying
Posted Jan 27, 2010
There's no need for UNC fans (or recruits) to panic. Defensive coordinator Everett Withers is staying at North Carolina, despite preliminary conversations with Tennessee about possibly taking the same position there. "I'm happy to be a Tar Heel," Withers said. "I feel like this is the best situation for me and my family. Butch Davis has been great to us and I think the program has a great future."
