Giovanni Bernard heading to North Carolina

St. Thomas Aquinas senior running back Giovanni Bernard changed his commitment to Notre Dame and verbally committed to North Carolina on Wednesday afternoon. Bernard, who missing most of his senior season with a hamstring injury, finished his career at the school with 2,603 rushing yards and 29 rushing touchdowns. (South Florida Sun-Sentinel)
