Tar Heels raid Florida to fill football recruiting class

North Carolina capped two bountiful days of football recruiting in Florida yesterday by adding the last of four commitments, with one coming at Wake Forest's expense. Announcing their intentions to sign with North Carolina were Tim Jackson, a 6-5, 220-pound defensive end from St. Petersburg; Casey Turner, a 5-11, 190-pound running back from Jacksonville, and Tre Boston, a 6-1, 175-pound defensive back from North Fort Myers.
