Sunday's loss to Virginia was just the fourth time in Roy Williams's head coaching history that one of his teams lost a home game by 15 or more points. The others all came at Kansas--to Missouri ('89), Long Beach State ('93) and Arizona ('03). Since Dean Smith became head coach, only one UNC team has started ACC play 2-4 and rebounded to make the NCAA Tournament--Smith's last team, the 1996-97 group that went to the Final Four.
