We discovered a player in Clover, S.C very late and we were lucky to get in on him, bring him up to Chapel Hill for a recruiting weekend, get his commitment, send him home, and get him ready to start class for the spring semester. And we knew we needed to do that because, for whatever reason, he had fallen through the cracks. It was Ronnie McGill, who would become a very good running back for us, and could be in the NFL today if not for some injury issues.
