1. Michael Jordan, UNC: Duke was not a strong team in two of Jordan’s three college seasons, and he was on the losing side only once in seven series games and delivered several standout performances, including scoring outbursts of 28, 25 and 22 points. In his first game against the Blue Devils (Jan. 16, 1982 in Durham) Jordan keyed a 73-63 UNC win with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists.
