Long Snapper Alex Marrs Goes To UNC For Football
Posted Feb 4, 2010
Alex Marrs, son of Graham Head Coach Doug Marrs, will trade in his maroon and gold G-Men jersey for a Carolina blue and white jersey. "It's a dream come true," Marrs said. "Everything happened so fast, I can't believe it." Marrs plays center and will be the Tar Heels' long snapper. "When Coach (Butch) Davis called me yesterday I was nervous," Marrs added. "He just kept telling me how excited they were to get me so that made me feel good."
