Five questions to ponder before tipoff
Posted Feb 6, 2010
Does UNC have anyone capable of guarding Maryland’s Greivis Vasquez? Opposing guards have feasted all season on the seemingly defenseless Tar Heels — Georgia Tech’s Iman Shumpert, Virginia’s Sylven Landesburg, Wake Forest’s Ish Smith, Clemson’s Demontez Stitt. As good as those players are, the Terps’ Vasquez is even better. Needless to say, UNC’s Larry Drew, Will Graves and Dexter Strickland are going to have their hands full Sunday.
