Butch Davis expects UNC's spring practice to take different tone

UNC coaches opted to try a handful of players at different spots. Among them is Johnny White. After spending last season as part of the Tar Heels’ crowded stable of running backs, White will work at cornerback this spring. Davis said White was the fastest player on the team, posting a 4.32-second 40-yard dash in offseason testing. Also switching positions is Cooter Arnold, who moves from defensive back to receiver.
