This was Pack's chance for a win

N.C. State proved an ideal opponent for UNC a day after the Heels lost Ed Davis for six weeks with a broken wrist, like scheduling an FCS team for homecoming. North Carolina is 2-0 against N.C. State this season and 1-7 against the rest of the ACC. North Carolina may be fragile - mentally and, if the team's ever-lengthening injury list this season is any indication, physically - but the Wolfpack has made the Tar Heels look awfully good.
