9. North Carolina (14-11, 3-7): The Tar Heels are improving, but they are doing it without Ed Davis, who may miss the rest of the season with a broken wrist. Without Davis, their chances of winning the ACC Tournament - which is the only way the Tar Heels will get into the NCAA Tournament - are nonexistent.
