UGA coach Mark Fox still benefits from ties to UNC's Roy Williams

Sixteen years ago, Georgia basketball coach Mark Fox was 24 years old, already out of his first coaching job after the University of Washington basketball staff got fired. He was looking for a reason to pursue his masters degree in his home state of Kansas and find a way back in. Somewhere between Fox's persistence and Roy Williams' generosity, Williams allowed Fox into the inner sanctum of Kansas basketball – practice -- and, in turn, his network of influence and friendship.
