UNC Women Finish First Night Of ACC Swimming Championships In First Place

The women's swimming and diving ACC Championships began Wednesday night at Koury Natatorium with the 200-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relays. Freshman Carly Smith led off for the Tar Heels swimming backstroke with a time of 24.54, followed by Sophomore Layne Brodie swimming the breaststroke leg in 27.80. (Tar Heel Blue)
