For the fourth straight season, UNC brought up the rear on the ACC Football All-Academic Team, with only one player honored for his academic achievements. Offensive tackle Mike Ingersoll was the lone Carolina representative on the squad. The native of Mint Hill, North Carolina is a junior majoring in Communication Studies.
