Women's Lacrosse Improves To 2-0 With Win Over No. 11 Vanderbilt

Freshmen Kara Cannizzaro and Emily Garrity scored three goals each and senior Kristen Taylor had two goals and two assists as the fourth-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse team beat No. 11 Vanderbilt 12-6 Friday evening at Fetzer Field. Tar Heel sophomore Becky Lynch and junior Corey Donohoe contributed two goals and an assist each in the win. The Tar Heels improved to 2-0 with the victory.
