Boston College Beats Reeling North Carolina 71-67

Reggie Jackson, making his first start of the season at point guard Saturday, scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half to lift Boston College to a 71-67 win over struggling North Carolina. Corey Raji had 16 points and Rakim Sanders 14 for the Eagles (13-13, 4-8 Atlantic Coast Conference), who won for the second time in six games. Deon Thompson paced the Tar Heels (14-13, 3-9) with 17 points and nine rebounds.
