Desmond Hubert stands tall
Posted Feb 23, 2010
Desmond Hubert may be standing alone these days but he's no solo act. New Egypt's 6-foot-9 junior center played his first two high school seasons alongside 6-10 Kevin Janowski, who has since moved on to Ursinus College. That leaves Hubert as the center of attention. "In the second half of the year he's more comfortable getting to the rim. He still has a way to go on his offensive game and he knows it. Defensively, I still think that he's the best shot blocker I've ever seen at the high school level."
