Silver not Heels' color in loss to FSU
Posted Feb 25, 2010
New uniforms. Same outcome. UNC donned silver-and-white Wednesday night to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Nike’s Jordan brand, but it didn’t give anyone (except its opponent) anything to celebrate at the Smith Center. Florida State’s 77-67 victory marked the first time the Seminoles have won in Chapel Hill since 2000. The loss, meanwhile, puts the final nail in any lingering Tar Heel hopes of an NCAA at-large bid.
