North Carolina comes to ignominious end 62-58

When UNC's season ended a year ago, it was under raining confetti amid smiles and trophy-hoisting in Detroit. This season, the Tar Heels' year ended early and unceremoniously Thursday night in the first round of the ACC tournament with a 62-58 loss to Georgia Tech as players quickly glanced at the scoreboard for final confirmation, shook hands and jogged off the court at Greensboro Coliseum.
