Don’t tell me the NIT doesn’t matter. If nobody’s interested, why was Marcus Ginyard diving into the North Carolina bench in search of a loose ball? Why was Roy Williams leaping from that bench and shredding his voice? Why was a North Carolina team that won the NCAA title a year ago scratching and clawing from start to finish like the final horn would set off a stirring rendition of One Shining Moment?
