One-On-One With: Dick Vitale, Part 2
Posted Mar 26, 2010
It’s hard to coach college basketball at any level. But in this conference, with the intense passion that exists, how demanding is it? Vitale: To be able to pass the test of time, as Mike Krzyzewski and Gary Williams and Roy Williams have, is truly special because it’s always about what have you done for me today. At UNC, “You won the national title, but what about this year’s team?” Same with Duke. If you have a bad year, it’s always, “Are you losing it?"
